Mar Boutique Apartment

The location was amazing for us as a family of four. Beautiful streets to walk around and authentic places to eat. The rooftop terrace was absolutely amazing for views and the property had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Mar Boutique Apartment and would happily return :) First thing to mention - honestly, the location is fantastic if you want to experience the real Istanbul. It's in an authentic neighborhood full of local life, away from the crowds, yet everything is conveniently close by. For some might feel a bit run down at first, but upon exploring we really enjoyed this part and appreciated being away from overly touristic bubbles. Lots of authentic shops/cafes, with very kind and welcoming people. It felt very safe walking through, we have not experienced any issues for the whole 2 weeks of stay - so don't let remarks about location change your mind :) The best part - 8-10 min walking distance to Grand Bazaar and further touristic attractions, metro/bus/ferryboat are very close by if you are up to exploring more distand regions - so I rate location 10/10 for sure. The facilities are good, apartment was very comfortable, clean with everything we needed for our rather longer stay -if something was missing, getlemen at the reception were available anytime to help us. Now to that part: what really made the difference was the people. Abdulrahman and his colleagues Adnan and Samet were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. From local recommendations to helping with anything we needed - we got every question we had answered :) Their hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like friends visiting the city. Overall - fantastic value for money, I can only recomment this venue - oh, and I have not mentioned the stunning views from the rooftop terrace that is accessible for everybody ;) Thank you Mar Boutique team for making our stay so enjoyable. We left with great memories and hope to be back again soon :)
