wonderful time

Wonderful apartment with a stunning view of Lake Maggiore. The place is spacious, bright and perfectly clean, and it was warm and very cozy even during the quietest week on the lake, right after the New Year holidays. The hosts were extremely attentive and caring, treated us to champagne, created a truly homely atmosphere and even drove us to a nearby town, saving us during a transport strike. We would be very happy to come back here again.

Stunning and spacious lake front apartment

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Gambusso. The apartment is central to everything you could need (fabulous views of the lake from the balcony, plenty of cafes and restaurants in walking distance, ferry terminal across the road, supermarket for provisions), very spacious, comfortable beds, and well equipped. We didn't prepare any meals during our stay, but there seemed to be plenty of equipment for a basic meal, plus an excellent coffee maker. The hosts were exceptional, greeting us on arrival, very communicative during our stay, offering lots of local tips and recommendations, and leaving some much appreciated drinks in the fridge for us. It was very hot during our stay, and Paolo brought us an extra fan to help with the heat. We would recommend Casa Gambusso without hesitation, and would certainly return if visiting Pallanza again.

Beautiful historic ‘La Belle Epoc’ era villa . So nice to have such a spacious area & beautiful view right on the lakeside .The hosts were wonderful guiding us to all there is to see in the area & then helping us to the best way to get to the airport at the end of our stay. You won't want to leave the wonderful view

That view is exceptional, and unforgettable. We spent lots of time just sitting on the balcony watching life on the lake go by. The location is great for everything you need, but not as touristy as other areas. We are so pleased we decided to stay in palazzo. Our host has a deep family connection to the property and this shows through the care they have for the apartment, and their guests. We will be back. Lots of great places to eat nearby, and decent supermarkets.

Parking is a bit of a stroll away but on the other hand, the ferry is just across the street so you don't need the car much!

Location is perfect, just right in the center. View from the balcony is amazing and everything in the apartment is clean and tidy. Maria advised and recommended us where to park, to eat and to visit. She’s so kind, so friendly and helpful ! We definitely will be back !

Awesome location and beautiful view.

Awesome location, couldn’t be better for Pallanza. Everything you need is a short walk away. Great view of the lake. The apartment was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Carrefour market was a few minutes walk. LIDL about a 5 minute walk. Ferry terminal is across the street. Hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit to Verbania again. Since we flew from US, and didn’t want to use cellular, they provided the Wi-Fi and passcode that worked outside the building door to let them know we had arrived. Easy to take a bus from the stazione to Piazza Gramsci with a short walk down via Ruga.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Gambiasso! The Isolino apartment was perfect—clean, beautifully furnished, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. Our 1-year-old daughter, Ophelia, loved gazing out at the water, and our dog, Luna, enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of the apartment. The recommendations provided by our host made our stay even more memorable. We truly hope to return one day and will definitely recommend this special place to our friends and family. Excellent service! We felt very welcome right from the start, as the hosts greeted us, introduced the apartment and the surrounding area, and gave us great recommendations. The apartment itself was beautiful, and the stunning lake views made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and services nearby. Our family of five had a wonderful time, and we will definitely come back!

House is nice and very clean NO PARKING !! ( in booking parking is part of the deal. No elevation- a house problem to carry luggage to the apartment. Price is double then 4 stars hotel near the property. It was a mistake for us to take this property !

Sehr schöne Lage Sehr Sauber Hundefreundlich Die Vermieter sind super lieb :) Ganz herzlich :) Wir kommen gern wieder !!! Es gibt dort keinen Aufzug, was aber völlig okay war. Wir hatten die Wohnung im ersten Stock :) Die Aussicht aufs Wasser ist super schön. Tagsüber konnte man gut heizen, nachts war es etwas kühler. Wir waren aber auch im Winter hier :)

Leider keine eigenen Parkplätze, die an der Straße sind leider ziemlich teuer. Wer kostenlos parken möchte muss das Fahrzeug weiter weg parken

Herrlicher Aufenthalt direkt am See

Der Blick vom Balkon über den See war sehr schön, wir konnten die Linienschiffe anlegen sehen, auf dem Balkon in der Morgensonne frühstücken und dem morgendlichen Treiben zusehen, zum Beispiel dem Aufbau des Marktes. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und viele Tipps gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr individuell gestaltet und hat Charme. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Auto musste tagsüber ein Stück entfernt geparkt werden, das war aber für uns kein Problem.

Wunderschöner Urlaub am Lago Maggiore

Wunderschöne Altbauwohnung (wir hatten das Appartement Isola Bella mit 3 Schlafzimmern) in perfekter Lage in Pallanza, mehrere ausgezeichnete Restaurants in fußläufiger Nähe. Tolle Pizzeria direkt unten drunter, Bäckerrein mit wunderbaren Pistazien Croissants sind in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch die Schiffe für eine Rundfahrt zu den Borromäische Inseln legen direkt gegenüber an. Die bezaubernde Gastgeberin hat uns viele Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele gegeben und war immer bei Fragen für uns erreichbar. Zu meinem Geburtstag stand auch eine Flasche Wein vor der Türe, vielen Dank nochmals für die sehr nette Geste. Die Wohnung hatte einen sehr schönen Balkon mit direkten Blick auf den Lago Maggiore, so dass wir das Frühstück mit den Pistazien Croissants und einem guten Italienischen Café doppelt genossen haben.

Traumurlaub am Lago Maggiore ❤️

Ein wundervolles Haus und eine wundervolle Vermieterin/ Familie mit Geschichte und Präsenz. Wir haben uns als Familie mit Hund super wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war so groß dass wir sogar Verstecken spielen konnten. Es fehlte an nichts. Besonders die Waschmaschine haben wir oft benutzt, nachdem wir am See waren. Die Vermieter haben uns wertvolle Tipps zum Aufenthalt gegeben und waren für uns immer erreichbar.
