The location was great! While a little bit of a trek if you're coming from the airports in Milan, all the lakes are, so unavoidable. It was a really simple journey with great views. Nicole, who you collect the keys from, was very communicative and flexible with the checking in/out period which was great. You are less than a minute from restaurants and the lake and less than 3 minutes from a beach for swimming. Lidl is about a 5 minute walk away, but super easy to find. The kitchen area was comfortable and had simple, but useful equipment.

The door to one of the double bedrooms doesn't close fully. There is a foam strip along the edge to prevent it from shutting, which wasn't so great for privacy, but not the end of the world. The shower curtain doesn't fully fit so when closed it cuts off half the shower/bath from use. Also, this was the first time booking something other than a hostel where I had to pay rental costs for towels and bedding which made the overall accommodation cost for expensive than initially anticipated. It was about 18 euro per person, and this cost is separate to the city/tourist tax. Most significantly, it is very warm in hot weather with little to no air circulation in the attic bedroom. Only two small fans were provided. Windows were kept open day and night, but this isn't helpful for the upstairs bedroom and at night the area is incredibly quiet so as a small group on holiday (we were 6) even talking and playing card games in the kitchen felt like it was disturbing residence in the area because it was so quiet.
