Das Haus liegt ruhig etwas abseits vom Strand. Man braucht aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Der Ausblick auf die Libysche See ist phantastisch. Es ist sehr hochwertig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend - Hier hat Gastfreundschaft einen viel höheren Wert als im Rest Europas.
Wir waren zu zweit als Digitalnomaden außerhalb der Saison unterwegs, nicht für einen Sommerurlaub am Strand. Die üblichen Touristenattraktionen gibt es in Sidonia zum Glück noch nicht, aber zwei Tavernen und einen kleinen Supermarkt, also alles, was man braucht.
Auch wenn die Betten sehr gut sind, hatte ich gelegentlich Rückenschmerzen am Morgen.

We had a wonderful stay in Evi's house. It is all very comfortable, new and clean. Kitchen very well equipped, bed super comfortable, astonishing view from the living room couch.
The house is on top of the hill above a lovely, calm and non-touristic village, where there are two taverns, a cafe and a mini market. We would recommend to have a car, also to explore the beautiful landscape of the region.
Evi and her family are most sympathic, welcoming and warm people. They provided us with the finest cretan fruits, vegetables, tea, honey, olive oil and much more, which mostly grow in the astonishing garden at the house. We loved it!!
There is a big terrace with a sea-view that will blow your mind, where you can enjoy your meals. The beach is a 2min drive from the house with clear blue water, now in March still a bit wild, but otherwise perfect for swiming.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub als Familie in ruhiger Lage mit fantastischem Blick über das Mittelmeer. Der Strand war gut zu erreichen und lud zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln ein. Besonders gefreut hat uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!
