Wow! That was exactly what we were looking for to mix up our winter vacation in Crete. It’s a remote village but only 20min from the cute seaside town of Myrtos. With gorgeous views of the mountains and sea and a big comfy hotel room with a jacuzzi tub and a taverna with absolutely delicious homemade food, what more could you want? Amazing breakfast included…everything is made from scratch including their own wine and olive oil. This hidden gem is frequented by the locals for mama’s home cooking. Great hiking in the area too…recommend the Selakano loop trail and tea after at Stella’s cafe. Thank you so much for a beautiful 3 night stay! Everyone was so friendly. They even gave us a gift of their olive oil when we left. We will stay there again when we come back to this part of Crete! Highly recommend if toy want quiet nature, local feel, 5 star food and service, and a taste of the real Crete!

We had a huge room with terrace, great view. Close to the road but during the night there is no traffic.
We didn't use the jacuzzi in the room. Spilling a lot of water in this country doesn't feel right.
Everything was fine, even the home made wine we had with the dinner

- Not welcoming host. At the check-in we were greeted by a lady who didn't smile at us once. A welcoming smile could go a long way.
- Noise. The rooms are located above the local taverna (which was lively until 11-11.30pm) and just in front of a small road (yet, there was some traffic early in the morning). We were hoping for a quiet time in a remote place and the experience was the opposite.
- Bathroom requiring works. Very weak water pressure, absence of shower curtain, draining in bathroom's sink is clogged. The room states to have jacuzzi, but I would be just happy with basic bathroom equipment working properly.
Overall, we find that the value for money was very low (80eur per night). Better value for money can be easily found in Crete.
