Other reviews are not quite truthful Or helpful. Do yourself a favor and find other Accommodations. Especially if you plan to stay more than one night. I promise you, this isn’t worth it. If you plan to stay more than 2 nights, DON’T. The check-in time after 5pm is DIABOLICAL; considering checkout is 10am. Boggles the mind. The description of the location of the key was helpful but the metal handle to the utility closet holding the lockbox was broken and sharp; nearly cut my hand trying to twist to open. The pre-1950s building had rusted railings in the outdoor hallway and the space very cramped, tiny, and claustrophobia-inducing. No modern amenities and a bathroom unit that was entirely too small for anyone taller than 5ft (not exaggerating), you have to bend to shower otherwise you’d smack your head against the ceiling; you also couldn’t move your arms more than 2 inches without smacking your elbows into the wall. The shower head is as thin as a toothpaste tube (again, not exaggerating), the thinnest jet of water comes out; seriously, the host needs to consider a new shower head. The most recent peel and stick craft paper covering the walls of the space was obviously DIY and it is peeling -badly. Zero storage or closet space, so any luggage you bring would take up part of the already TINY living space. The entire living space is roughly 3.5 double beds (including bathroom and kitchen -even for Tokyo, this is REALLY unlivable) The ‘second bed’ advertised is LITERALLY a dirty brown thin fold-out sleeping pad. I wish I were joking; I was shocked. One of my gripes is simply that a proper hotel with better amenities in a place like Kamata cost less than this place. I looked into the rent prices and comps and I promise you, this place is not only overpriced, it is criminal to charge such rates considering the living conditions and unreasonable check in/out times. Also, there is mold in shower caulking.
