Hotel Faranda Collection -Zona G – Bogota
Beautiful property, great area – more residential but a few steps away from main road with shops and restaurants. The rooms was also nice. The breakfast was very good and overall a very nice property, great service and can definitely recommend. It is not walking distance to museums but the area itself was very nice.

Loved the size of the room and the peaceful outlook, also loved the location as it sits between the fancy G Zone to one side, and the more local/down to earth restaurants on the other side.
The only issue I had was a group of drunk people chatting loudly on the corridor at 3 am... but staff swiftly intervened.

Honestly, one of the best hotels I stayed in. It's clean, it's quite. Great location. Stuff is polite and attentive. As a nice compliment, the breakfast is good too.

The check-in experience was terrible. I arrived at 2:55 pm and was told to wait until 3 pm, without any explanation. I would have understood if the room was not ready, but the receptionist simply repeated that I had to wait until 3 pm.
After checking in, I went up to my room only to discover that the key card did not work. I returned to reception and was then told that the card takes five minutes to activate. They offered to open the door for me in the meantime, but why wasn’t this explained when they handed me the card? It would have saved me an unnecessary trip back to reception.
The ventilation in the room was also poor. The only positive was the breakfast, which was reasonably good. Overall, a disappointing stay, particularly because of the poor communication at reception during the check-in.
