    Hotel Taqenama: Overall a good hotel. The rooms were large (but dated), location within walking distance to the Museums and very good breakfast selection. The house keeping could improve as there was an occasion when they cleaned the room but did not replace the toilet paper or towels and I had to chase for this but within 2 hours it was addressed. Otherwise a hotel that can be recommended.

    The hotel is located near the National University, people at night do political picketing and lots of noise as the windows are not noise proof. There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms, the food service is very limited, breakfast only until 1030am including weekends and the restaurant closes at 3 pm. The other restaurant belongs to the Four Points in the lower level and the food selection was not great and very expensive. The bathroom had a very bad smell coming from the drains of the jacuzzi and the sink and smell like dirty sewage very disgusting. The staff was very friendly, except for one that told my partner, that there was no microwave for us to heat our left overs and my partner went to the restaurant and they in fact had a microwave, but were very difficult to her to get the food heated. if you we have left overs from dinner, they either have a microwave or be friendly about it. We don't like people lying to us.
