Once the home of the farmers who raised their families, tobacco and cattle on the land, this charming cottage has been fully renovated, offering all the modern amenities and sweet details to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. With two stylish bedrooms featuring ensuite baths, a full hall bath as well as a bunkroom for the kids, the Cottage at Ivy Fields Farm is the perfect getaway for families, couples, and friends seeking a tranquil escape and unforgettable vacation destination. The house boasts a full laundry room, dedicated work space, and blistering fast FARM WIDE internet service. Wipe up culinary masterpieces in full farm kitchen with modern amenities (microwave, coffee pot, toaster, large refrigerator, silverware, plates, glasses, pots and pans, and grill. A private herb garden just outside the back door provides not only delicious flavor to your meals, but a private place to relax or meditate. A separate outdoor firepit, complete with tiki lights and comfy lounge seating promotes stargazing and smore making.

This trip could not have been any better! The house was clean with the perfect layout for our group. Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play. It’s so peaceful, none of us really wanted to go home. Kids are already planning our next visit.

I don’t know where to start. This was one of our best family vacations to date. We absolutely LOVED our time at Ivy Fields Farm. Farmers Dina and Blaise were so thoughtful, kind, and welcoming from the beginning of our stay and beyond. They provided wonderful information about their farm, including a tour. The animals were delightful. We learned so much about fainting goats, Kune Kune, pigs, chickens, guinea, fowl, and more. We enjoyed regularly checking in on 1 week old piglets and their mama.
The property is beautiful and spacious. The views of the mountains in the distance are serene. The house was thoughtfully decorated and very clean. Plenty of room for our family to feel very comfortable.
Coming from suburban city life, this was a wonderful and much needed way for our family to relax and reconnect.
We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the Asheville area and miss it already.
My only regret is not booking for several more days than we did… There is so much to do in the Asheville area. We were a bit torn between trying to see and do things in the area, and just enjoy and relax during our time on the farm.
We will be back for sure, and will stay for longer so we can have dedicated days just to enjoy the peace of the farm and days to explore Asheville and beyond!

What a beautiful property with very accommodating hosts (including one very sweet pup)! The home was exceptionally clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour and learning all about the animals on the property. Roasting smores and listening to the frogs by the pond took us all back to childhood summers of our own. We would love to go back sometime and visit again!

We arrived after dark and were greeted by a sky full of stars and the serenade of frogs and crickets. The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed, was very clean and updated. In the morning we were greeted by Farmer Blaise and the farm dogs. We got a tour of the farm and met the animals (chickens, pigs, guineafowls, ducks and goats). The baby goats were our favorite! Farmer Blaise was super friendly and we loved helping him feed the animals. The location of the cottage was convenient to so many activities. We spent the days exploring (ziplining, gem mining, shopping and dining) and the evenings at the farm helping with the animals, relaxing and even had a bonfire one night. I highly recommend this experience! Bring a pair of boots or shoes and old clothing you can wear on the farm - you will get dirty if you were as hands on as we were! I am so glad we stayed here!
