About this house rental
If you want to relax in peace, it's here, if it's to party, go your way! At the Gîte les Griottes you will find all the comforts, with the indoor swimming pool in the heart of Sancerre in a wine-growing village. Large warm living room with its fireplace opening directly onto the terrace. This is shaded to allow you to enjoy your meals outside in the summer. Barbecue, deckchairs.
We will be delighted to welcome you for a cellar visit as well as a tasting of our different vintages at the Michel Girard et Fils family estate.
Trail running, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing down the Loire, hot air balloon flight, paragliding... the choice is vast to discover our hillsides.
Our specialities, Sancerre wines, Crottin de Chavignol, Croquets, Lichou ...
We do not house animals, even small and well-behaved animals.
A deposit by bank imprint will be requested upon arrival.

This home is located in Verdigny about a 5 min car ride to Sancerre. It is a lovely home, that is well appointed, spacious, and clean. There were six people in our group and the home accomadated all of us with ample privacy. We found the beds were comfortable, linens and towels were provided and everything one might need to cook in the kitchen was available. The indoor pool was also a big plus and provided a nice way to cool off after a hot day of exploration. The AC worked well in all the upstairs bedrooms. The one caveat is that the main sitting area downstairs and the downstairs bedroom did not have AC. However, AC in this area was not a problem until an unusually hot couple of days. The owner, who lives next door, was very responsive, accommodating and kind. I would not hesitate in staying here again. It is a lovely home in a wonderful location.
