Thousands of Ants everywhere in the room including in the bed. The Queuing for a drink was ridiculous so we went to a local bar instead. Don’t get me started on the Sunbeds!!!!

resort is nice sized and has activities every evening. Family friendly and one wouldn’t have to leave the property, if the goal was to soak in some sun by a pool and do nothing for a week. Clean, with well kept garden areas. Although it’s not the typical place we stay, most the guests seemed to enjoy their stay.

In one word, HORRIBLE. Horrible room, because it smeeled like faeces and it was in an unhealthy state. HORRIBLE, because the only alternative I got was to walk at 5 AM in pijama to another hotel. HORRIBLE, because I caught the receptionist insulting me behind my back calling me the "typical customer that just wants something for free". HORRIBLE, because the manager and director both lied to me claiming they could not issue a refund because I booked through Expedia. And HORRIBLE, because when expedia tried to call up to 5 times to get the refund approve, the manager was always "busy". Don't go to this hotel

The room I stayed in was tiny. Could hardly walk around the bed. It had bars on the window and no outside balcony.

Globales hotel do not try to be flashy they just do what they say they are, a good standard 3 star hotel. The staff at the cortijo blanco where so friendly. To make it better provide kettles in rooms and a sports area(footy) for teenage boys. I understand they removed this for an additional pool area which was excellent.

Hotel had opened 2 days before their official UK opening date to cater for locals for their Easter break, the food was excellent! When they left on Sunday the food was completely different when the locals left and UK tourists arrived! The beds were also impossible to sleep in and no insulation between rooms made it seem you were sharing the room with those other guests in adjacent rooms. Will not go back nor recommend it to friends!

On late arrival we were put into a tiny box room for the 1st 2 nights and asked to have a room the same as everyone else and eventually got one. The food was plentiful but hit and miss.

Unfortunately I was not on holiday, and the option to stay here was one of necessity. Upon my arrival, the reception staff tried to rip me off by charging me twice for the room. This was only sorted out by the intervention of Expedia. If your idea of holiday fun is to stay in a motel with thousands of liked minded British tourists and eat canteen food, whilst fighting for a sun bed place this is the place for you. The food was truly awful, alcohol overpriced and clientele to match. On the plus side, two of the reception staff went out of the way to be helpful in what was a very trying personal time.

when i first arrived i was told that there was not the room available for which i had paid for and was made to stay in a diffferent hotel and in a box room that was not nice at all. i had paid for 10 nights at the cortijo blanco for a twin room with a balcony which i did not receive on my first day and night's stay. i complained about this and was given a room that i should have had at the beginning on day two of my stay. I was also given a safe to use free of charge as i asked for it to make up for the downgraded room i had on day and night one. the food and drinks were available from 8 am to midnight but the snacks were always the same choices and this got boring. also the rice and noodle dishes were extremely salty and were almost too salty to eat. the drinks were always in plastic cups which caused me to question the impact that this had on the environment. there did not appear to be any recycling facilities available for guests to dispose of their waste in an environmentally efficient manner. the rooms were cleaned daily and this was done well.

Is was easy too eat, take a bath and enjoy the sun. A good varitaion of food I didn't like that many people placed the towels at the sun chair long before they used it.

We arrived at the hotel and were told there were no rooms available so we were being "upgraded" to a sister hotel in Estapona. We were not happy about this but went along with it in a taxi which was waiting for us outside. The staff couldn't get us out quick enough. The "upgraded" hotel was basically a water park with blocks of apartments full of young families. We chose the Cortijo Blanco because it was more adult-friendly. We spoke to the hotel manager who spoke to the manager of the Cortijo Blanco and we were moved back the following morning. The same thing happened to our friends who had booked the same hotel. We were told that anyone who didn't book through Tui (Thomson's) were told there were no rooms and moved to another hotel. Our room at the Cortijo Blanco was clean and spacious. The food was of an excellent quality and there was plenty of it too. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs/tables to go around and the bar staff, staurant staff and cleaners were friendly and pleasant. Easy access to the beach and the highway leading up and down the coast. Buses run regularly in both directions so it's easy to get around. Taxis are there in minutes but may try to overcharge massively like one or two tried with us! Overall a lovely hotel, just a pity we had a bad start to our holiday with the Cortijo Blanco. We would definitely return if we could guarantee staying there from Day 1.

We always stay here when we head over a few times a year. Very friendly staff and very comfortable. The location is also great. The food used to be fantastic but the last few visits have been a little disappointing to be honest. We will still go back though but would will just eat out. I do know another couple who would be there a few times a year when we go who are going to stop coming because of the food!!!!

Second visit to this Hotel but not our last. We really enjoyed our stays, the food is lovely, and a good choice of drinks especially the Cava my personal favourite. It is very close to bus stops and not too long a walk into San Pedro for the bus station. It is in a quiet area which for us was lovely as we tend to go out all day and enjoy our evenings watching the entertainment or sitting at the Bodega bar chatting with other holiday makers. Rooms are clean and comfortable well worth a visit.

We wanted a fairly local base to puerto banus and Marbella that offered all Inclusive facilities so we could just relax and not spend a fortune. the food was great with a wide choice no matter how fussy you are. Location wise it's about 45-60min walk to puerto banus but luckily we had a rental car otherwise would of ended up racking up a fairly large taxi bill as it costs about €20 euros return and about €40 euros return to Marbella itself. Rooms are Clean and a decent size but prety basic, tv only has Spanish Channels unless you wish to watch the world news 24/7.

Due to some unfortunate mishaps with my planned vacation to Marbella, we ended up having to book 3 hotels over the 6 nights we were away (feeling somewhat like Goldilocks now I'm writing reviews); only needing a 1 night stay at the Cortijo Blanco. We arrived and settled in just in time to see some of the evening's entertainment (two guys performing some old pop classics, which everyone was out to watch and seemed to enjoy), and hit the snack/drinks bars - both of which were free for our board. The snack bar was decent enough for those with a late pang of hunger after dinner (I had a hot dog and fries) and the drinks bar was fine if you don't mind cocktails with a higher than normal juice-to-alcohol ratio (for a freebie I wasn't going to complain). The room was bog standard with everything needed for someone on a short stay or intending to be out as much as possible, and perfectly clean - there was slight discomfort as we couldn't get to grips with the A/C dial, but it wasn't worth seeking help from reception as we were leaving in the morning. Breakfast the next day was nice and all as expected, so we were content with our stay as we proceeded to check-out. One difficulty was we could not seem to get a taxi for about an hour after the reception booked it, and having asked them to chase/re-order it, so I was in a strop by the time I eventually departed - but of course that was not the hotel's fault. Overall, a nice place for young groups or families I'd say.

Unfortunately the hotel is situated on the wrong side of major roadworks which will also leave it on the wrong side of a major new road when completed. The staff were very helpful but the buildings rooms and amenities were in pretty poor condition.
