Great location within easy reach of old town, everything cental Split has to offer is within walking distance - 15 mins. Our second visit to Split and we were able to explore so much more from this location, to the left and to the right on the coast. Immediate surrounding area great also with bars, restaurants, grocery shop, beach, tennis, park and a lovely bodega/tapas all within mins. Dan and Sandra have considered absolutely everything for guests - the apartment is lovely, lots of additional touches and it was a pleasure to hang out/rest after busy days As with other reviews thought we would miss outdoor space, we did not at all, as it had so much on the doorstep.
No dislikes at all. Fan only in the main bedroom I guess could be an issue for some in extreme heat. Did not cause us any issue - in June. Other rooms have excellent aircon.

Home from home. Had everything and more. Easy walk to Split old town. Discovered some nice restaurants in local area which made a nice change from Split old town. Beach is two minute walk from house. Lovely beach with good facilities.
I missed having outdoor space / balcony although I knew this before booking and beach area so close it worked out well.
