Appartamento Pinus Varenna

Das Apartment ist gemütlich klein, aber reicht vollkommen. Gute Ausstattung von Küchen Utensilien etc. Aussicht auf dem See vom Balkon aus. Die Lage ist auch top, wenn man es lieber ruhiger haben möchte! Alessandro hat schon vorab uns alle Informationen zukommen lassen und war sehr gastfreundlich

The views from the apartment balcony are stunning, you are staying in an apartment so as other reviews have mentioned there is noise from neighbours but obviously this is to be expected when staying in an apartment building! The property was very clean and the air-con worked well, it does make a noise but it does not need to be left on overnight as an hour in the evening and morning kept the property cool throughout our stay, the other reviews that mentioned leaving it on all night I can only imagine left the doors and blinds open whilst using the air-con as there is no way that the apartment does not stay very cool with the doors shut! It was a very comfortable temperature the whole time we were there. We visited three restaurants whilst staying here, the most local one was superb with lovely staff and wonderful meals, the other one a bit further down the food was also exceptional but advised to book a table ahead! We walked into Varenna which is around a 20-30 minute walk but we only decided to do this once as we didn’t have a car and it is a lot of steps, which we did expect when looking at the location, so there was no surprises there! Alessandro was the most lovely host and was always available to help us whenever needed, a truly lovely person and so kind to help us with transport options when trying to work out taxis around the area! It was such a lovely touch to have a bottle of water, prosecco and coffee making facilities in the apartment. Thank you again Alessandro for such a lovely stay!

Not a complaint just advise for guests would be that to get the best use of this lovely location in the hills it may be best to hire a car whilst visiting, there are no shops nearby so to get essentials you need to visit Varenna, or bring them with you🥰

The view was amazing and Alessadro is a very good host. I appreciate his warm welcoming and all help provided during our stay.

I recommend this place for active people who don’t mind climbing many stairs. I personally didn’t find it difficult, but apartment is located in the hills and can be hard to reach.
