Votsalo Apartment

The house was a bit far from the center, but in a perfect location for us. It was only a 5-minute walk from two of our favorite restaurants, Meltemi and Savvas, so it was very easy to have dinner or a drink and then walk back home. We only stayed one night as it was a stopover on our way, but we wish we could have stayed longer. The terrace was spacious and the view was beautiful. The house was very clean and comfortable for four people. It is right by the sea, and although there was no direct access to the water, there is a beach very close by car. At night, we slept with the terrace door open; falling asleep to the sound of the waves and occasional rain was priceless. Waking up in the morning to the sun rising directly over the sea, almost next to the bed, was also wonderful. We stayed without any problems with our large dog. The host had kindly left us Turkish coffee and mastic liqueur. Having coffee on the terrace, surrounded by beautiful flowers and the sea view, was lovely. Mosquito repellent was also provided in both the rooms and on the terrace, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Our host, Konstantin, was a very sweet, energetic, and kind man. He explained everything clearly, sent us local recommendations, and showed us where to park. We were a little worried at first because the parking space is on a main road and near a bend, but we had no problems at all. Thank you so much for everything.

The house, furniture, and household items are quite old, but everything was clean and adequate, especially for a short stay. Also, the way up and down to the house is a bit steep and includes some steps. It was not a problem for us, but it might be difficult for people who have trouble climbing stairs.

Beautiful view from the balcony, an amazing sunrise, quiet and sea view. A clean and intimate two-room apartment, without luxury claims but certainly familiar. You will feel good.

Maybe with time the access to go down to the seashore can be arranged.
