Spacious apartment with good views including a side-on sea view. 2 balconies. The apartment had everything in it that we needed. Nice elegant tidy lobby area. Peaceful at night.

We knew that the swimming pool was not going to be open - closed end of September, but we were not expecting the weather to be quite so beautiful and hot. We were a bit disappointed that we could not take advantage of that facility. The hill up to the apartment building was just a bit more of a hill than we would have been comfortable with but we managed ok.

The surroundings were quiet. The house itself was quite quiet by Spanish standards. All rooms were very spacious for two people. The dishwasher, fridge-freezer, air conditioning with heating function and washing machine were plus points. The two balconies were an advantage, as we had the clothes horse on one of them. There was always plenty of parking space. The hill was not a problem for us as we had a car. Lidl is located directly in front of the building (but is closed on Sundays).

The mattress was fine but not very comfortable. The duvet was warm, but there was only one large one for two people, so you always accidentally pulled the duvet away from the other person. The floor was dusty – we are used to this in Spain, but it was unusual that our shoes were so dirty after only two hours. The crockery was adequate, but of poor quality. The four chairs at the dining table were very wobbly. The floor lamp in the living room did not work. The washing machine malfunctioned. Water always splashed out of the floor-level shower, so we had to mop it up. The shower head holder was very high up. The shower water was sufficient for two people. We do not recommend sleeping on the sofa bed for one or two people, except in an emergency for one or two nights. Upon arrival and departure, you must first pick up and then return the remote control for the gate, as there is no button to open it on the inside. We were unlucky or lucky that the fuse only broke on the morning of our departure.
