Maison idéalement située entre plages et commerces

Good location, 15 minutes walk to the old town or to the beach area/shops/cafes/restaurants. Good sized accommodation, well equipped kitchen and utility room with full oven/hob/fridge freezer, a washing machine and dryer. Living room area was ok for 5 adults. Garden is basic, but nice to have outside space and table/chairs and parasol. We had parking for two cars. Good ensuite facilities, nice showers. Bit annoying that there are no toilets in the ensuites, they are separate - just be aware. You might need a cooling fan as there is no air con, but this is apparently normal for accommodation in this area. We took our own, there is no fan in the house.

The listing does not make clear that towels and bed linen are NOT included in the price. I checked the listing on arrival home and have also tried to raise this with booking.com customer services. The host messaged via Whatsapp on the day we arrived, to check that we did not need any, when we indicated we had no idea what she was on about, she said we had not answered the question about linen/towels. We were never asked about these, as obviously if we had, we would have said yes. Of course we needed them; we had travelled from the UK and and our friends flew in from Hong Kong, so no, we did not bring towels, sheets or pillowcases. If she had not messaged me just to make sure, this could have been an uncomfortable stay. To be fair, the host did arrive promptly with these items, but we had to pay an extra 100 euros for them. We were asked if we wanted cleaning, and we said no, as we felt we did not need anyone coming in during our relatively short stay. We did not appreciate the consequences of this decision. On our last day, a phone call was made to us from the host, at 09:40. Our friend speaks French, so was able to translate that as we had not paid the extra 120 euros for cleaning services, we were expected to leave the house EXACTLY as we found it. Not just taking out the rubbish, actually cleaning the house. Therefore, we spent the last part of our stay mopping floors and cleaning toilets. We strongly suggest that the booking.com listing is amended and that future guests fully check before booking about the extra charges for linen/towels/cleaning. If we had known that all this was extra, we would not have stayed at this house, as it was quite expensive anyway.

Les deux salles de bain et les deux wc, les lits de 160. L'espace vie convivial. L'équipement de la terrasse...même si nous ne l'avons pas utilisée à cause du temps.

La propreté en arrivant : beaucoup de poussière un peu partout (sur les meubles et sur le sol).Un bon coup de lingette a été necessaire un peu partout.

Emplacement idéal. Maison agréable et ensoleillée. Grande chambre. Pièce à vivre superbe
