About this villa rental

Charming villa renovated in 2010, located 700 m from the large beach and 500 m from shops, the tourist office, restaurants (see details below). Its ideal location in the heart of Carnac allows you to do everything on foot within a perimeter of 1 km around the house. The villa is quiet, in the middle of an enclosed garden with trees of 600 m2, at the bottom of a private dead end (ideal for children). South-facing terrace. Rental possible all year round (week and weekend).

We all had a good time, there were seven of us 6 adults and a 3 year old, who had a great time in the garden on the swing, in the Wendy house and a little bike around the garden. Good location for all the tourist attractions and restaurants. Carnac is a lovely place.

We loved our stay in Carnac. Phillippe was very welcoming and laid back and did not mind our changeable arrival time (we drove from Calais and wasn't sure how long it would take). The house was huge, clean and well presented. I particularly loved the double room that opened out onto the garden. We loved the garden - eating out on the patio was a joy as was hearing the tawny owls in the night. The position of the house was perfect - an easy walk to the beach and the resorty part of the town, a short drive to the stones (I love stones) or an easy walk to St Michel tummuli to see the sunset. It was in a peaceful cul de sac with friendly neighbours. It was a 5-minute walk to the boulangerie and 5 mins to the Super-U supermarket (which was ace). Morbihan was brilliant. We had some amazing days out to Gavrinis (burial mound on an island - book a boat from Larmor-Baden), the Locmariaquer megaliths and Quiberon. The petit menec stones were a favourite in Carnac and I liked going to the alignments at sunset or early in the morning. I did not get to see all the stones I wanted to, so hopefully we'll be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Quelle déception! Les plus: une jolie maison, bien placée avec un jardin clos pour les enfants. Les moins: matériel de cuisine sale et cassé, fait de bric et de broc et posé à même le sol dans les placards. Appareils ménagers vétustes, réfrigérateurs moisis, cassés et rouillés, cuisinière qui n’a que 3 bruleurs sur 4 qui marchent, four, bbq, et ustensiles incrustés de graisse. Il y avait une odeur persistante et désagréable dans l'escalier et au premier étage probablement du au revêtement sisal posé sur le sol. Au prix de la location, il serait indispensable d'investir dans une nouvelle batterie de cuisine et des appareils ménagers propres et en état de marche correcte. De plus, il est annoncé 2 salles de bains alors qu'il y a 1 salle de bain. 2 toilettes et que la 2ième douche est au fond du garage ! Location à déconseiller.

This lovely cottage was well equipped, clean, comfortable and Philippe was so welcoming, it felt like a home from home. It was also very quiet and peaceful and on the few sunny days we had, it was lovely to sit in the garden. Conveniently located for the morning run for croissants, it is just a few minutes' walk to the beach and shops at Carnac Plage in one direction and the same to Carnac in the other. We had fairly dreadful weather and despite this, we were able to keep our baby boy happy with so much to do within an hour's drive. We particularly enjoyed the aquarium at Vannes, the castle at Sarzeau, the stud at Hennebont and the Breton Village. This is a part of Britanny that we love, however spending two weeks in this delightful cottage made it even more special. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Maison fort bien placée très tranquille au bout d'une impasse à 700m de la plage ou du centre de Carnac ville et de son marché, ou à 500 m de Carnac côté plage. Pour y aller on emprunte à pied des petites ruelles sans beaucoup de circulation un avantage quand on a des enfants en bas âge ou une poussette. La maison est simple en décoration mais très fonctionnelle et très propre avec beaucoup d'ustensiles et un jardin bien sympathique pour les jeux des enfants ou le farniente des plus grands. Accueil sympa et petits présents à l'arrivée. Location que je recommande pour passer de bons moments.

Si vous cherchez une maison tres fonctionnelle proche de l'océan du centre ville au calme avec un jardin tres agréable dans laquelle il ne manque rien ,vous avez trouvé votre séjour idéal .Le proprietaire est tres sympa et vous indiquera tout ce qu'il faut voir dans le Morbilhan .On etait 3 couples et il y avait encore une chambre vide .Je vous recommande cette location . MYLENE et CLAUDE .

Nous avons passé un agréable moment à 7, malgré une météo des plus médiocres en partie grâce à cette location bien située et très au calme. Les courses se font à pied et les plages en vélo ou à pied suivant celle que vous choisissez. Le jardin, vaste et bien entretenu permet de s'y reposer avec peu de vis à vis. La location étant équipée de Wifi cela est très pratique. Cette dernière est bien tenue et propre. Ses nombreuses salle de bain facilitent la vie au quotidien.

La maison est grande et permet de passer des vacances avec toute la famille (parents + enfants + petits enfants). Nous étions 11. Equipement de bon niveau fidèle à l'annonce. Le grand jardin permet de multiples activités. Maison située entre le bourg et la plage; accès facile à la plage en moins de 10' par l'allée des menhirs qui est une rue avec peu de circulation. Maison équipée Wi-Fi ce qui est un plus (et oui même en vacances on doit rester joignable). Pas de problème pour les voitures (3 devant la maison) et les vélos (6 en tout dans le garage). Bref, de très bonnes vacances. Ne pas hésiter.
