Beautiful property, best place I’ve stayed in Northants.

Excellent, great views and very homely!

This place exceeded my expectations! I was a little sceptical at first, as I always am with new hotels. But this was just gorgeous. This was the first ever stay over accommodation where I felt right at home the minute I entered. You had everything you needed, it was stunning!

Sneaky getaway for 2.

I booked this stay as it was a birthday present for my partner along with a day at Santa pod raceways which was only 9 miles away. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated room with fantastic views. The mattress, pillows and quilt were comfortable and warm Ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Towels, hand wash and shower gel were provided. TV and Internet provided. Tea and coffee were provided but also had a coffee machine in the bedroom. There were other facilities available however we only stayed the night so didn't need this. The price was amazing. I have stayed in expensive hotels with poor facilities. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and tidy.

The back of the property wasn't very well lit and I struggled to see the key safe numbers. Maybe a security light or solar light during the darker months.

Lovely clean modern room with countryside views in the right location.

Location was excellent due to proximity to my brother who I was visiting. Quiet location for sleeping. Off road parking. Host helped me reverse out of the gate and sighted road for me. When I arrived there was nobody about but the phone number provided was answered immediately. I could not open the door with the key I was talked through into getting from the key safe. Mark was there quickly to help me access the accommodation.

Neighbouring room kept different hours than me. Woken up twice with footsteps on wooden staircase ( carpet would be quieter). Woken 11.30pm when they came in and 5.30am on a Sunday morning when they went out. They came back at 7.30am.Instructions for the Bubble head coffee machine would have been helpful.

Everything, it was much better than I could have hoped for. It's a bit of a lottery staying somewhere new and my confidence was boosted with this stay.

Weekend away

Area was rural, exactly what we were looking for. Country pub just up the road for drinks and food and also close to town with plenty of bars and restaurants ( which we made use of). The owners made us very welcome and at home upon arrival, showed us around the room which was at a very high standard. The shower was large and really nice. Wi-fi was free and a good signal. Views from the upstairs rooms were great, overlooked fields and woodland. We were offered the garden and furnishings to use if we'd like them, which was a nice gesture.

Lovely gem in the country

Very comfortable and clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Very good level of Facilities and also need to be aware that it is not a shared bathroom but the room has an ensuite. The shared kitchen downstairs was very well appointed with everything you could need and the food and beverage station on the landing was also very well equipped and very convenient.

No major negative comments, although the shower was red hot, and didn’t want to get any cooler, regardless of how much it was adjusted. It would be good if a drinking glass was provided in the bathroom for water, and there was at least a small amount of shower gel or shampoo provided, as is common with hotels.

Fabulous find, beautiful room, stunning location 👌

Stunning room, decorated to a really high standard. Beautiful bathroom. Comfy bed. Gorgeous location. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The Host was fabulous to communicate with, very responsive and accomodating to our needs. Would definitely recommend and we will stay again.

Nothing at all we didn't like. But just one small recommendation, is that a bath mat is provided for the shower as the floor got wet so we used towels to step out of the shower.
