Bruit dans la rue (voitures, ripeurs, festivaliers…) et mauvaise ventilation (pas de climatisation mais ventilateur complexe) mais supportable sur un court séjour lui-même festif.

Avignon centre is a town of very narrow streets with old stone houses, and you will find this studio in the heart of this charming atmosphere. We overheard one couple speaking English, otherwise it was all French around us. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. Staying the night in such an old house, added to the experience of being in Avignon. The area was quiet and calm and within a short walking distance from the railway station.

The room was a bit damp, and we had to run the (rather noisy) dehumidifier for some time before bed time. The directions on how to enter the building and finding the key to the room was all given in French although our previous communication with the company had been in English. We managed to figure it out - and had a bit of fun doing it. If you’re picky about the bed: the mattress was hard and somewhat loumpy.
