Best Campsite I've been to, would highly recommend, the campsites are shady with individual kitchen, toilet and shower facilities and there are lots of little creatures wandering around (little squirrels, guinea fowls, hornbills and many more beautiful birds) to make the experience even better. The restaurant has an amazing balcony looking onto a waterhole and the staff were really friendly and efficient. thank you for a lovely stay!
I was a little concerned about the lack of electric fencing between the restaurant balcony and campsite as technically a predator could jump that barrier quite easily , especially in the night time when nobody is there. This gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling especially at night.

They bathroom-kitchen block and fireplace were nice, and it’s a cosy set up campsite
For the price, it isn’t anything special. We’ve had nicer campsites in Namibia for half the price. Also some spots are very close to neighbors, and it doesn’t feel private. Besides the campsite, the food in the restaurant was very bland, and the sundown and sunrise drives were disappointing too. All in all, we weren’t impressed with Onguma
