We were impressed with the attentive staff and charn of the inn. We liked how quiet it was and that restaurants and town were not too far away.

The made‑to‑order breakfast was fantastic, and the suite was incredibly spacious. Staying in such a beautifully preserved historic home felt like a real privilege!
It’s an older property, and although updating it would be a significant project, it does feel like a little extra care here and there could make a lovely difference!

Loved the history of the building, especially the unique cabin architecture and the wood carvings. The two employees who we met seemed eager to help and were very apologetic about the issues we raised.
Sad to see that the property was starting to show its age inside and out and that there were various things strewn outside and stored on decks. Lots of obvious dust and neglected corners. We think we got a rarely used suite (Library). We would not have stayed here if we had known we were going to be put in a pet-friendly room that had not been dusted (I started coughing immediately)
