The Latch Inn

breakfast was top ! had a lot of choices, and the lady came with the coffee several times, English style historical property, I like that very much, unfortunately could not stay longer. nearby the ship harbor and for the evening 5 minutes walk to a very good restaurant. thanks to the friendly staff, who brought the drinks outside !

This is a small Inn which I liked as I booked 5 rooms of the 6 available and used the lovely living room for our meetings. Location was quiet. The patio was nice and the breakfast room beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were custom made on order so that was lovely. There was a one hour Happy Hour for drinks only-no appetizers. The marina restaurant is very walkable. Parking for the Inn is convenient.

No restaurant and very firm 2 hour only check in time which does not match the ferry arrival times.

Breakfast was served in the little restaurant area or you could also order to go if you were in a hurry to catch a ferry.

The location of the lodge was excellent and the room was comfy and clean even though it smells very very old and stale. Very quiet location.

The exterior energy of the property is dead. There were no chairs set up on the nice wrap around patio. The lower patio by the dinning room had no service even during happy hour. Not a sole around. There was a dead squirrel that had been decaying there for quite some time. The interior of the lodge is a shown in photos and very stately but the smell isn't good.
