The Tea House - A Stones Throw from Beach

Great location. House suited our needs of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of hand and shower wash. Well equipped kitchen.

With a fee of £155 for cleaning it could have been done a little better. The bathrooms were clean but the floors could have been swept more. Dust under beds and cobwebs at some windows. I left a note in property of some minor issues to be addressed. Hope the owners would look at my comments.

Spacious house with 2 bathrooms. Close to beautiful beach. Short walk to town. Driveway is very handy. Beds were comfy. Wardrobes and drawers are good. Nice to have dining area. Washing machine. Plenty of space for family. Outdoor area is a nice bonus, veranda could do with some comfy outdoor chairs and a table. Lovely addition but can't sit out on it.

Early morning dog walkers outside property. Very loud. Builders arriving early morning, in front of property and next door. Very noisy all day. No chance of a lie in past 7am. Vans parking all around house. Unable to open any windows apart from one in each room. Temperature got to 31 degrees and fans supplied just moved hot air around. No cloths to wipe surfaces down in kitchen. No sponge etc to wash pots. No baking tins for oven and No jug. Place a little grubby and cleaners not very efficient. £3300 paid for 2 weeks and wouldn't even change our towels half way through. Garden area was very scruffy, weeds everywhere, veranda full of cobwebs but gardener did turn up, which improved things.

The property was spacious and plenty big enough for 4 adults and a child , had everything you need, it’s about a 15 -20 min walk to town centre , with a couple of hills so be mindful if you have mobility issues, property was clean and nicely presented . We had a wonderful family break and property was a great base to return to and relax, beds were super comfortable and clean and kitchen well equipped the two bathrooms were great

Nothing to dislike , The outside was a little tired but we were aware some window still needed replacing and looked a little tired but this didn’t affect our stay at all

Comfortable, homely feel. Great location for beach. Powerful showers. Good WiFi. Smart TV. Tower fans effective. Kitchen well equipped. Safe parking on drive but there was usually a space on the side street. About 15 min walk into town where there are many good restaurants and pubs. Great communication.

Conservatory was accessed inside via the main bedroom but was too hot to use during our stay in June. It is a shame only a few windows open in the house. The verandah is nice but could do with a clean around the eaves. The gutters and garden could do with some attention as it all looks a bit untidy.
