This house was an excellent choice for a trip. The lake view was so perfect and relaxing. The description could not describe what you see when you get there. So many places to sit and relax by the water. It was very clean and had everything you need for your stay for cooking, TVs in every room in the house, the play area had pool, air hockey and video games in a very large room upstairs. Plenty of blankets if it gets cold in the evenings. The host is so responsive and checks in on you during your visit to be sure things are going well. It is very friendly to family visits with large gathering areas in the kitchen and a living room and very spacious and beautiful outdoors. This is a place you can walk in the door and leave the rest of the world behind. Loved our visit.

We rented this home for my son’s wedding. The groomsmen and dates stayed here. The house was large enough for them to all be comfortable and close enough to Hickory for the wedding. The game room was a big hit. Had it been warmer and they had more time, they would have taken advantage of the lakefront. The hosts were so attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend this home and Flying Squirrel!

The place was very roomy for 7 adults and 2 small dogs. Plenty of plates/utensils. Also plenty of dining spaces both inside/outside. Needed more clothes hangers and dressers or shelfs. Even went kayaking (Sept. 10-14) Would go their again.
