Located top floor with best ocean view at Ocean Pointe Suites. This condo is ready to host your next getaway! Relax and escape to this beautiful getaway in the heart of Tavernier, ideally located between Key Largo & Islamorada.
The Space:
This is an updated two bedroom two bathroom unit. This is a top floor unit that doesn't underwhelm with the incredible views from the living room, kitchen and small private balcony. Smart TV's in every room with a 55'' tv in the living room for those oh so rare uncalled for rainy days. Great place to call home for those families as this unit has King bed in the master bedroom with a queen bunkbed with twin above in the guest bedroom. Bedroom 1 has a ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Bedroom 2 has ensuite bathroom with tub shower combo. We do provide all our guests with linens towels, beach towels and soaps.
The property itself has amenities galore: sparkling pool with hot tub, boat ramp and marina, tennis courts, beach with pier, free parking and charcoal grills.
Enjoy an drink at our pool bar of visit the onsite waterfront cafe for a snack and umbrella drink - hosted by Island Grill.
Guest Access:
You will have full access to Ocean Pointe Suites resort & property. The security gate is manned 24 hours. The person who made the reservation, will need to present their ID upon arrival.
We have a 24 hour Self check-in process with local support from Oasis Vacation Rentals.
Boats and boat trailers are only allowed if pre-approved by the dock master prior to reservation.

Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.
Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there so TAKE YOUR TIME. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right.
GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR
We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:
KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.
The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.
CAR PARKING
Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to the unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.
Other Things to Note:
For enhanced hygiene and guest comfort, all linens and towels are professionally laundered off-site by a commercial laundry service. This process ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and quality for every stay.
Marina slip and/or trailer reservations have to be made prior to arriving with the Dockmaster. RV's and jet skis are not allowed.
Interaction with Guests:
We employ a 24 hour rental management company to provide for your every need. We are just a message away for any questions or needs you may have.

We had a very pleasant weekend away with all the comforts of home, yet even better with the amazing view! Great communication with the host with quick pleasant responses. The property is conveniently located and easy to get around.

Upon entering the condo, we had a feeling of peace and tranquility. It is very well decorated and kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, silverware, etc.. We didn't do much cooking on this vacation. We were gone about enjoying water activities. However, I can't think of anything I would have needed that wasn't there. The beds were extremely comfortable with ample pillows. The water pressure in the bathrooms was amazing for a 4th floor unit. The showers each had shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers. We didn't use much dresser space but there is ample if you need it.
We enjoyed evenings relaxing on the most comfortable couch watching a little TV after long days on the water.
The pool and hot tub are not far from this unit. Pool is nice and clean. There are lots of chairs!!
The beach is small but clean. We didn't use this much because we were there for water activities. If you are coming for a beach vacation, you may want to look in other Florida areas.
Communication (prior to, during, day of departure) with management is TOP NOTCH!!
We would definitely stay here again!!
The only suggestions we have would to be include a few more trash bags for kitchen and bathroom.

This is a gated community which is really nice, a heightened sense of safety. It is easy to find the right building as they are well marked. Buildings 4 and 5 are closest to the small beach. There are many units for rent. The unit we rented had a kitchen bar that seated 4. Not a ton of space for kitchen prep and cooking if that's your plan. We ate breakfast in each morning so it was nice to have a full kitchen. Our unit was clean and well appointed. The only complaint I have is the walls are thin. We ended up with families with young kids on either side of us. You could hear their young loud children's voices from 6am to 9pm. So, if you want an adult only atmosphere this is not your place. The pool was busy every day with families. We didn't use it. Very few folks at the beach with its 30 or so lounge chairs. That's more the adult area with the pier to walk out on and sit at the end. A great location for activities on the upper keys. Host and hostess were very nice to work with and checked in on us to make sure we were settled in and all set.

Great Location with awesome amenities.
Very Clean with lots of Extras including Pool Noodles, Goggles with Snorkels and Bats with Balls.
Kitchen had all one could possibly need.
Communication with Rental Agent Excellent.
Would definately pick this Unit to stay in again.
