About this apartment rental
Excellent lagoon/ocean/beach views as well as perfect location to view fireworks on Friday evenings. This unit has two comfortable double beds, a 2019 full size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, free wireless work desk and a comfortable large 120sf lanai to watch the surfers and swimmers at world famous Waikiki Beach. Flat screen TV, dvd and an internet work desk in the living area. Kitchen with stainless steel appliances (oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, rice cooker) and most what anyone needs for simple meals after a hard day at the beach or hiking. The granite bathroom is spacious with a walk in shower and hair dryer provided. Computer writing desk allows you to have a comfortable work space to do your work while listening to the ocean waves.
*There is an ongoing project at the building for spalling repairs and painting. This stack is scheduled to be repaired sometime between June 29, 2026 - Nov 20, 2026. This may affect usage of the lanai and result in construction noise during the day between 9 am-5 pm (sometimes as early as 8 am for weather)
The Ilikai is literally steps from the beach and includes a pool, bellman and valet service and Cinnamons Restaurant famous for their breakfast on the foyer level.
Parking is not included, please see below for the options for parking:
1. Valet parking is available 24/7 and is $45 per night plus tip with in/out privileges. Please check the rate on arrival. No reservations are needed. Just arrive anytime, and valet staff will be on duty.
2. Behind the Ilikai building there are lots of public parking spaces, some free and some paid. The free spaces close at 10:30 pm so you have to move your car before then. The paid parking spaces go for $1/hr and do not close at a certain time so they can be used for overnight parking. You can pay with cash or card, just go to the parking machine and enter your license plate plus the number of hours, which will print out a ticket to put on your dashboard.

Everything was easy to get into she was very accommodating and there were extras I didn’t see like boogie boards, beach towels and a beach mat. Overall great stay

The view of this room was incredible, had an amazing ocean and firework show view. I wanted to love this room but unfortunately my 1 week stay was not the best experience. Day 1 started with having a leak in the rest room ceiling. Water leaked on toilet while trying to use it. The property manager was very responsive and sent a repair quickly. Unfortunately it did not end there, the room appears to have a roach infestation. We encountered numerous roaches big and small. The property manager was understanding and offered a cleaning and full/partial refund and an additional deep cleaning on day 2. Unfortunately the cleaning did not do much, because there were still roaches after that. No other rooms available and with a full itinerary did not have time to look for any other last minute hotel options close to our activities we had planned. This made for an uncomfortable stay and we definitely did not get to use the kitchen as planned due to concerns with roaches. We tried to keep food to a minimum in the room and only ate on the balcony and it was not enough for the roach issue. Unfortunately we had to take extra precautions when getting back home to avoid spreading the roach infestation to my home. The property owner is very nice and response but the roach issue was a big problem for me.
