Ekahi 27A: Priceless Ocean View from a Private Lanai

A lovely corner property on Ekahi. Beautiful landscaping and this lower unit is in a quiet area…near but not too near a small pool and the main pool and beach access. Views of the ocean in the distance are wonderful and sunset from the lanai is perfect! Very comfortable furniture inside and out. Great kitchen. Typical small bathroom in the one bedroom condo here but it was fine for the two of us. Outstanding air conditioning in bedroom and living areas…quiet and worked really well and quickly. Parking spot was always available. The bed is small. We are not large folks and were okay with it. Just be prepared. We never used the lanai off the bedroom. We enjoyed driving to Big Beach, Makena State Park early each morning and walking the Wailea walk past the large hotels at night. Love Ekahi and this is truly a special unit! Host was wonderful to work with and happily offered early access on arrival day which helped a lot as we were coming from Hana. The Shops of Wailea are very close too. Definitely highly recommend.

The view was superb, the condo clean and inviting with a very comfortable bed! Simone was excellent and professional and very kind. We had to cut our trip short and leave abruptly because of a medical emergency with an older family member. She was gracious enough to facilitate a partial refund for the unused days. THATS why we highly recommend and will book again in the near future. Many thanks for a short but wonderful stay in 27A.

The Ekahi complex is beautiful, well maintained, gorgeous landscaping and the large pavillon area was great for meals. We were there during the major rain storm in March which created some unusual problems. The condo flooded our first day, Simone was very responsive, immediately came over when I called her. She was able to move us to another unit for two days while our unit was cleaned. She continued to check on us throughout our stay. Kudos to her, not an easy situation.The unit itself was clean, nice location with a very lovely lanai with an ocean view. It could use an update though, kitchen and bath were functional but very dated. Not really a deterrant, but something to be aware of.
