DOMUS LINA

The best part was how spacious the apartment is. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bathroom and shower in each room. There is a single sofa chair in one of the bedrooms that turns into a single bed. Our 3 teenage boys stayed in that room. My wife & I were in the other. We were all very comfortable. There is even a double couch in the main area that can turn into a bed if needed. The best part was the location right in Marina Grande. However, it is very important for everyone to know that the main town is a 15 minute uphill walk. We knew this and didn’t mind it. There are quite a few restaurants down in the Marina if you wish to spend a day there and not go anywhere. There are a few bars and a couple of small markets for your daily needs. Our host, Salvatore, was exceptional. Our flight to Napoli arrived early morning the day we were checking in and he did everything he could to try and get us in early. We were able to meet him at the apartment and leave our luggages until the apartment was clean a few hours later. It gave us a chance to grab a bite at the Marina & explore Sorrento for a couple of hours.

Honestly, there was nothing that we did not like about the property. It is on the 2nd floor but only a few steps to take. Not an issue.

Great location by the water in Marina Grande (not the ferry port) near delicious restaurants. Clean, updated apartment with 2 excellent bathrooms, well stocked kitchen. Prompt communication with the property manager.

The Domus Lina exceeded our expectations in every way. The rental was extremely clean and comfortable. Providing coffee, tea, and snacks was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the 4 balconies providing different views of Marina Grande to enjoy our morning coffee. We ate at 2 of the restaurants in Marina Grande . The bus stop in the marina is a short walk from Domus Lina that took us to Piazza tasso for shopping and restaurants. Our adult kids walked to town and back many times in 10 minutes. They also easily took the train to Pompeii without any issues. We hired a taxi to take us to the Porto di Marina Piccola to catch a high-speed ferry to Positano/Amalfi coast for the day. It was the best 4 days of our 10 day vacation in Italy and Sicily. We highly recommend it.
