Extremely lovely bungalow in a lovely quiet area

The location was extremely important for are trip and the area was nice and quiet, the bungalow was nice and warm, well set out with everything you needed in the kitchen, it had a nice big parking space.

The bed could’ve been more comfortable but that was the only thing

Great location, could do with some TLC

This is a lovely little bungalow with lots of potential; it has a great sized garden at the back, off road parking at the front, 2 good sized bedrooms, as well as a good sized living room, kitchen and bathroom. You can tell that the kitchen was fitted not too long ago as the cupboard fronts are modern and in good condition. It is also in a lovely location and is near a number of shops and places to get food. The host was also friendly and provided all the information we needed in advance.

The rest of the house, aside from the kitchen units is very dated and the whole property could do with a good clean. It didn't look as though there had been a very thorough clean before we arrived as the rugs needed a good hoover, there was debris in the kitchen units, the bathroom wasn't clean, the hard floors left all of our socks mucky and there was a fair amount of dust and cobwebs around, which set off my allergies. There were also lamps that didn't work, blinds that didn't close and windows that didn't fully shut, which meant doors had to be left open all night otherwise they banged and so this let in a breeze as well as road noise. The house would benefit from a more minimal approach; less of the decorative pieces that are collecting dust, particularly the ones that have no use (like lamps, blinds and clocks that don't work) and a really good deep clean. It would also benefit from being redecorated in most rooms as there are mismatched tiles and stained grout in the bathroom & kitchen and lots of evidence of previous wall adornments such as plugs in the wall and damaged decor.

Perfect Peaceful Mini Break

Superb peaceful bungalow with all you need for a relaxing stay in a great location. Really comfy beds, nice warm feel to the place, TV in bed :) and a nice outside space. Parking was easy (as was check in) and the property is close to everything... 5 minute walk to the Chippy and local Co-op. 5 minute drive to Pubs, restaurants, take aways and Morrisons or Lidl supermarkets, and just 10 minutes to Fleetwood Market, the Outlet Shopping centre, Thornton Lodge, Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Zoo. We come to the area regularly and would happily return to 2 bedroom bungalow with parking next time we stay. Thoroughly recommended! Thank you Marie

Nice quiet area use the chippy on east pines excellent and the golden eagle pub walk down to coop turn left at end of rd

Location

Drains blocked on arrival, Garden smelled of sewer, and water was draining across the garden. Contacted the owner immediately but they only seemed concerned if it was inside the house. Owner promised to get someone out to look, but nobody came and never heard from owners during stay.

quiet comfortable property, well located for blackpool. we drove within 15mins but also one day used bus/tram which was really straightforward. great for young family like ours

peace and quiet with plenty to do within reach.

Everything. The bungalow was warm and cosy and contained everything you would need for everyday living. We couldn't believe how many storage cupboards and wardrobes were available to use and plenty of coat hangers.

The only thing I personally didn't like was the double bed. Due to numerous health problems I couln't get comfortable to sleep. Maybe one or two waste paper baskets in the bathroom and lounge area would be useful although not a problem as there was a bin in the kiitchen it meant we either had to keep taking tissues etc. through to the kitchen or let them pile up to be removed later.

A home away from home

The house is very clean and welcoming. It was spacious and well kitted out. It is well positioned to be near my parents so perfect for us. A nice touch to have fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee provided

Nice August stay

Good size property for a family of 3 but one of 4 would be fine too. Decent facilities in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom was good. Great location - on a bus route and about 20 minute walk to tram. Fairly quiet but easy to get to most areas of Blackpool. Excellent communication from owner prior to stay!

Very good

The location of the bungalow, privacy and parking plus it was as described very quiet. Also the bungalow was lovely and clean.

We felt that the sofa was looking tired and not very comfortable to sit on with a bad back and painful legs. Also the mattress in the main bedroom wasn't very comfortable which meant we didn't sleep very well.

Disappointing and needed major clean

The location suited us

The whole property needs a deep clean, everything you touched especially in the kitchen was greasy. The floors were also greasy and slippery and several times we nearly slipped and fell. The Wifi connection was the worst we have ever experienced .
