Orchid Luxury Suite

I viaggi diventano ottimi ricordi quando gli ingredienti si mischiano perfettamente a creare la vacanza perfetta: la compagnia certo ma il posto e la location e qui si parla di ottimo posto ed ottimo "oste". Un alloggio minimal arredato divinamente e con grande cura per i dettagli, camera e bagno bellissimi, minibar, phon, balcone e accappatoi con ciabattine per non parlare della gentilezza e ospitalità del proprietario. Hanno fatto davvero la differenza. Grazie di cuore P.s ( La spiaggia è vicinissima con il Lido Sabbia d'oro. La colazione in pasticceria a pochi passi dall'alloggio, grande varietà e buonissima qualità utilizzando i voucher che il proprietario consegna ad inizio soggiorno.)

Posizione strategica per arrivare al mare o come nel ns caso al molo per il concerto. Lo consiglio

This was a stay of convenience due to an early morning flight. We were only in Pescara for one night but we appreciated that the property was within a block of the beach and the host had chairs and an umbrella available for us to use. It was also near the promenade where we grabbed dinner and walked back. The host was also very communicative and had restaurant recommendations for us as we arrived at lunchtime and we were hungry. It also includes breakfast but we left so early, we missed it. The main door is easy to come and go from and the elevator fit us and our luggage. There is also a small ramp in the lobby for those who have heavier bags.

From our experience, the title Orchid Luxury Suite is misleading. For whatever reason, the address we had for the property took us to a different location so if you are going to stay here, be sure to get the address from the host to confirm you have the right information. The AC was new but as we discovered, it was controlled via the hosts app so no matter how cool we tried to make it, he had the ultimate decision. The lobby was cool but the room was stuffy. When you leave and take the key with you, it shuts the AC off, which under normal circumstances would be fine but we were there in some of the hottest weather this past June. We went for a swim, hoping the room would cool off while we were out but the temperature didn’t change much in the time we were gone. In addition, we woke up at Midnight and it was hot and stuffy, only to discover that the power was out. An hour later, the backup battery in the lobby started beeping and the emergency lights over the entry door were on. Not great for sleeping. I was hesitant to message the host at that hour but for obvious reasons, we needed to let him know. Thankfully he was online and said the entire city of Pescara was experiencing a blackout. Not much he could do and we had to be up in 4 hours. However when we left at 5:30am to head to the airport, we discovered that was not true. It was only the neighborhood that didn’t have power. Three blocks away, it was fine.
