Central Cozy Apartment with Balcony near Wenceslas Square

We stayed here for five nights, and by the end of our stay we had genuinely started to feel at home. :) Communication with the host was handled through Booking and everything went very smoothly. We first received a link for the online check-in, followed by all the necessary self check-in information: access codes, clear instructions and helpful photos. Everything was very intuitive, and we found the correct key safe and our apartment immediately. Access involves three doors — the main entrance to the building, the hallway door and finally the apartment door — but the instructions made the whole process very easy. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped, with a lot of attention paid to small details. Both the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The kitchen included a dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob, refrigerator and even a separate minibar fridge. A nice surprise was that some of the minibar prices were actually lower than those in Prague’s convenience stores. There were also several thoughtful items for families travelling with children, such as a small bed and soft toys. We did not need them as we were travelling as a couple, but they would certainly be useful for families. We also really appreciated the wardrobe. It was very well organised, with practical compartments and plenty of hangers for both of us, which made unpacking for a five-night stay very easy. The apartment also provided an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, liquid hand soap, lint brush and disinfectant. These may seem like small things, but together they make a real difference. That attention to detail creates the feeling of being at home rather than simply staying in a rental apartment. The bed was comfortable and warm, there was always plenty of hot water — actually very hot water — with good pressure, and the heating worked perfectly.

There were only a few minor things worth mentioning. The number of towels provided felt a little limited for a five-night stay. Since there was a washing machine in the apartment, we simply washed the bathroom towels and the kitchen towel after two nights, so it was manageable, but a few extra towels would have been more convenient. We were also a little surprised to find an additional single bed in the bedroom, most likely intended for families with children. This reduced the available floor space quite a lot. One of the reasons we had chosen the apartment was the feeling of spaciousness shown in the listing, so this was noticeable to us. The kitchen table area also feels slightly tight. For two people it was still manageable, but for a larger group it might feel a bit cramped. None of these were major issues or things that would prevent us from staying here again, but they are useful details to know in advance.

This was our fourth visit to Prague, and without a doubt, this has been the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. We were traveling with our 2-year-old child, and the apartment had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. The location is perfect – it’s just a short walk to the metro station, and you can also easily walk to the city center. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is huge and incredibly comfortable, and the apartment is very quiet at night, so we slept wonderfully. The apartment also has a terrace, which was a great bonus for us as smokers and something we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Prague.

There was no cable TV, but we were able to watch YouTube instead, so it wasn’t a problem for us.
