Villa Mara - Casa Rustica

Absolutely beautiful villa in the village of Zrnovo. Clean, very well equipped and furnished beautifully. Great swimming pool which you have sole use of. Met by owners on arrival and advised of restaurant and activity recommendations. In the village there are 2 great restaurants and a winery for tasting. Villa in a small village away from all the tourists!

We needed to take taxis to get to and from the villa, which cost 15e for each journey from Korcula. Ideally it’s best if you have your own transport for staying in the villa if you want to explore the island. A Walk to La Banya beach took 30mins downhill, and 35mins to centre of Korcula.

We loved Villa Mara! A perfect peaceful paradise for us to enjoy after a busy week in split. The property is gorgeously decorated, very clean and Linda was a perfect host. The villa has everything you could possibly need. Korcula old town is a 10 min drive away. Thank you for letter us stay at your wonderful property.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Mara - it is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and the photos don’t do it justice. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home, with lots of help and recommendations. It is beautifully decorated inside and outside, and the pool is an added bonus. The villa is in a little village in the hills above Korcula town, and hence away from the hustle and bustle, and quiet and peaceful as a result. We didn’t have transport but taxis are easy to come by and inexpensive. There is a small supermarket and an excellent restaurant that are each just a 1 minute walk away.

We can’t fault it.

Our experience was amazing! The property exceeded our expectations and looked even better in person, especially the pool. Being the first guests to stay at the house, we received a warm welcome with a thoughtful gift package. It was a wonderful surprise! Linda and Stjepko did everything to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended! We loved it and we are coming back as soon as possible!!!

Everything was great!
