Nice flat but disappointing experience

We only stayed one night in this flat. It is located on the ground floor, which is very convenient when carrying luggage. The interior is nicely decorated, and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay in the centre of Dieppe — even food in the cupboards! The heating was already on when we arrived, and the flat was lovely and warm.

We did encounter a few disappointments. First of all, the step leading to the bathroom is falling apart, and small pieces of the flooring come loose under your feet, which is quite unpleasant. There is also a staircase in the middle of the room that belongs to the flat above, and we could hear very loud noises and bangs every time the neighbours used it. The general level of cleanliness was not great. There was dust and fluff under the bed and sofa, the cutlery was not spotless, and the microwave was extremely dirty, with old food residue inside. We had to clean and disinfect it before using it.

Good location but has an issue with ants.

It is in a fantastic location just moments away from the ferry port and next to shops and Resturant’s. The owners were very prompt at replying to messages and the check in process is very easy.

During my stay there was an issue with ants. I noticed these from the moment I entered where they were present on the kitchen table. They were also in the kitchen cupboards and around the kitchen surfaces. There was even a few which had made it into the bedroom. The property is a little run down and in need of modernisation, to echo what someone said in an earlier review it has an old smell to it.

Good Location, Quiet, Private, Comfortable & Well Equipped

We booked this flat after the previous one cancelled our long-accepted booking. And what a favour they did us! This place, located in the real, working port area of Dieppe, can be described as 'small, but perfectly formed' with attentive, friendly, multilingual owners nearby. Equidistant between the central part of Dieppe and the ferry terminal, the flat is ideal for those of us who choose not to take a car on holiday. Comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, with easy-to-use heating controls and two doors leading on to a private external courtyard, this will provide ideal accommodation in both summer and winter. For those who like cooking, nearby there are well-stocked shops and a fresh fish market by the fishing quay most mornings; factors that also explain the presence of several excellent, traditional French bistros and Mediterranean/Levantine restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Great stay in lovely Dieppe

Central location for exploring Dieppe. Small and cosy. Loved the terrace - we have a great breakfast sitting in the sun, sheltered from the wind.

No door for the toilet which means you everything when someone goes to the loo. Otherwise a great stay.

Nous avons apprécié la literie neuve et confortable, la décoration au goût du jour, les informations communiquées et l'autonomie pour l'arrivée et le départ, ainsi que la souplesse des horaires.

Le ménage n'avait pas été fait avec soin ni dans les coins. Le tapis du salon n'avait même pas été aspiré (nous avons les photos) et pour nous, qui voyageons souvent et dormons dans des meublés de tourisme, il manquait le sens de l'accueil du client dans beaucoup de détails (verre et ampoule fissurés, marche de sdb cassée, cuvette des wc non détartrée, etc...) En lisant les commentaires précédents on peut voir que les propriétaires tiennent compte des avis alors j'espère que ce sera le cas ici. Merci à eux pour leurs efforts.

Pessima esperienza

Nulla, ho giusto apprezzato l'host che si è reso disponibile ad un parziale rimborso (quota spese di pulizia) che però ancora non ho ricevuto... (aggiornamento: non riceverò il rimborso perchè non è stata gradita la recensione)

Persistente puzza di muffa, lenzuola usurate e fodera cuscino rotta, locale esterno in stato di abbandono, ragnatele, prodotti doccia e shampoo quasi finiti, lavandino che perdeva acqua e che ha bagnato il phon...meno male che ce ne siamo accorti altrimenti non so cosa poteva accadere! Presenti le cialde per caffè ma il serbatoio della macchinetta era pieno di calcare. La dispensa era inguardabile: oltre alle posate e piatti c'erano avanzi di un pacco di pasta aperta, di una tavoletta di cioccolata...
