The property was empty during our stay, so we had the bonus of using the balcony in the upper apartment, which was really lovely. The location was excellent — literally across the road from the beachfront. The property itself was very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen, which made everything really convenient.
The weather during our stay was quite windy, which did limit how much we could enjoy the outdoors. We stayed from Wednesday through to Sunday morning, and a number of the local shops had limited opening times — the Italian restaurant was closed on Wednesdays and only opened from 5 pm, and the small grocery shop and chippy didn’t open until Friday. This was likely due to the weather and off-peak timing, but it’s worth noting for future visitors.
