This house is in a great part of Cape Town, in Muizenberg, a few blocks back from the beach. We had a big rental car that didn't fit into the small parking space at the front of the house, but there was no problem getting a park right in front, although the street is narrow. The area felt safe enough to walk around and down to the beach, and there are a few quirky shops and eateries nearby. The house is fantastic, with lots of rooms and areas to relax, with a courtyard for windy days and a shower out the back for post-beach. The main room has a view of the nearby mountain which is spectacular. Sarah looked after us very well. The kitchen was great to prepare family meals, there is a braai, and Checkers and a liquor shop are walking distance away.
The main room shower is beautiful, but the glass door to the balcony was a bit too exposing; we used a towel draped over that door. The toilet too has a glass door to the main room which lacked privacy. (A couple of blinds would fix this).
A very minor problem. This house was a highlight of our stay, and we feel very lucky to have stayed there.

Loved absolutely everything about this place. It’s absolutely beautiful and so spacious. Everything you could need is there. Beach towels, bodyboards, great BBQ area, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. The outside shower is genius, coming back after surfing with my three kids and them being able to first rinse off was great. You can park your car within the gate. The host was wonderful at getting back to us whenever we had any questions and was super accommodating. If we hadn’t already paid for our next accommodation we would have extended our stay. The area is great, feels safe and friendly and loved the look of the houses. The Garage market on the Thursday was gaat fun. Don’t think I’ve ever given a 10 before but this house absolutely deserves it.
