Notre hôte était très accueillante et disponible. La maison est confortable, aucune nuisance sonore et une proximité avec le centre ville permettant de faire une escapade en soirée et de profiter du joli cœur de Bourges.

L'accueil de Michelle est tout à fait sympathique. Le logement est agréable, facile d'accès, propre et lumineux, bien meublé et décoré avec goût. Les sanitaires sont spacieux et commodes. Calme assuré dans une petite rue en sens unique. Ustensiles de cuisine et électroménager satisfaisants. Literie très confortable. Grand réfrigérateur. Produits culinaires de base à disposition ainsi que pour le ménage et la salle d'eau.

Pas de parking. Le stationnement est possible dans une rue adjacente.

The apartment itself was clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient for exploring Bourges. The host was friendly and provided clear information about the property. The kitchen is functional but very small, so it is probably better suited to preparing simple meals rather than cooking extensively.

There are a few things that we think future guests should be aware of. The owners live directly above the apartment, and the building has wooden floors, so sound travels quite easily between the two levels. During our stay, we could clearly hear footsteps and movement upstairs late at night (around 00:30 and 01:30) and again from around 05:00 in the morning. This may be worth considering if you are a light sleeper or travelling with young children. Privacy was also somewhat limited. The entrance to the apartment is through a shared gate, and the owners’ small dog often barks when someone enters or leaves. We also got the impression that our own movements could be heard upstairs. This made us feel that the apartment was not completely private, even though the accommodation itself is separate. Overall, the apartment was clean and in a good location, but we would recommend being aware of the noise and limited privacy due to the owners living directly above before booking.
