Birds of Paradise

The location was good; it was clean. The home has potential.

Upon arrival, we found only 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths and 1 floor mat towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper, half roll paper towels, 1 dishwasher pod, a one inch container of dish soap and 2 clear kitchen trash bags. 1 BLANKET on kids bed NO Outside dining chairs Yellow ice in ice maker. And a mixture of kitchen items, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils. After notifying the “agency “ there were not enough towels, several different people returned text and emails saying it was stocked for the amount of people staying. 4 adults and 2 kids.🤬 NOT really!! Then they tried to say the cleaning crew couldn’t text a photo of “how she left the bathroom” but she emailed a photo that looked like a screenshot of the advertised photo that shows towels. This went on all day receiving emails of denial. I gave up and went to Walmart and got $3 bath towels and washcloths, enough for 6 people. Second would be appropriately working appliances. The lamp in kids room did not work. There were several lamps just for decor with no light bulbs?? Dryer didn’t work properly (did not dry) Then when maintenance person arrived the washer was so out of balance it rocked the entire home. Sounded like bombs going off. Maintenance tightened belt on washer which helped for a few days but that was all. We fixed the dryer ourselves as it was not taken care of. The aluminum hose is too long for it. Was horribly bent in one area and torn with large hole in another. The maintenance person did bring chairs though. Three (3) blue Academy folding chairs. These were to replace dining chairs 🤦🏼‍♀️but not tall enough to reach table. Master bed mattress is horrible. Like sleeping in a ditch. Pull out couch mattress, is like sleeping on rocks. The couches themselves have little to no support and should be replaced. There is also something wrong with the stabilization of home. Some movement is expected, especially during storms. But contractors should be notified about this home.
