AP387 Alcazaba South View

The property was very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. The balcony was lovely to sit out in the morning having breakfast and watching the world go by. The roof terrace was lovely - just a little too hot to stay there for long. Although it did have a little pergola. Having a washing machine and somewhere to dry clothes was really appreciated. The bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage space. The air conditioning worked really well and was also very very appreciated. The location was perfect. 15 mins walk to the beach and to the old town of Nerja. There were 3 lovely little bar/restaurants right beside the property as well - perfect for lunch, dinner or just a drink. Staff there were lovely. And many more restaurants and bars were writhing 10-15 mins walk away. There is also a really well stocked Corviran supermarket literally just across the road. So everything was in easy reach to the property. We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 late teenage children and we all loved it. Picking up the keys and finding the property was really easy thanks to the guidance provided by the property agent.

Just two minor points that aren’t complaints but just points to note for future bookers. The property is on 2nd floor with no lift so just beware that you need to lug your cases up two flights. And access to the pool is round the corner from the property. This was ok tbh - but there are no sun beds at the pool and no sunshades. You can put down towels in the shade of the trees but some people took their own chairs and shades down. Luckily it was never too busy, as space around the poolside is limited. But the pool itself was amazing - perfect temperature and the pool and area around it are really well maintained.

Lovely property, a home from home. Spacious and cool with plenty of outside space, and a lovely roof terrace. Fabulous location close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

The towels could be larger and better quality and I would suggest extra hand rails are attached to the wall where the spiral staircase goes up to the roof terrace. Recommend noice cancelling headphones when on the roof terrace to block out the noise from the building work next door which we weren’t aware of when we booked the year before.
