Posh studio with a king-size bed and modern design

Despite a bit of confusion with the keys, we still managed to check into the apartment, but it was the one next door – just as good, if not better, than the one we’d booked. It’s one of the coolest apartments I’ve ever rented – it’s huge, spacious, a proper mansion. It’s got a stove, crockery, a microwave and a kettle – you can cook for yourself. It’s quite close to the U-bahn.

1. Pillows. Lots of people have mentioned this here, but it really is a bit much – the pillows are huge and not soft at all. 2. The kitchen area could do with a proper clean. The grease and oil stains don’t leave the best impression. And the knives are absolutely blunt. As someone who knows a thing or two about knives, this was a real blow to the heart; it’s a shame I didn’t have a stone with me to sharpen them up :) 3. Spider webs on the windows.

Fantastic apartment with all the appliances and modern interior. Large bathroom with shower. Modern bathroom. Nicely decorated as well. Perfect location in Ottakring district. I gave 10/10 and will definitely be back!

The location is great, centrally located and security is perfect too. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment very clean and well layed out. The washing machine was much appreciated.

The property has great potential, but unfortunately falls short on the most important aspect of a stay: a restful night’s sleep. The mattress is extremely soft and sags to the point where it does not provide healthy support, resulting in discomfort and a restless night. While I understand that preferences vary, basic comfort should never be compromised. The pillows are another issue - they are overly puffed and hard, offering no proper head or neck support, which led to neck pain. This is simply not acceptable. We could not sleep on the pillows and had to use the smaller couch cushions instead. I strongly suggest the owners spend a night at the apartment to experience it fully themselves. Additionally, the heated towel rail in the bathroom is dangerously hot. Positioned close to the toilet, it’s easy to accidentally touch it and burn yourself - this actually happened to me. Overall, the property has promise, but these fundamental issues need urgent attention to ensure guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.
