Ginny is a thoughtful and friendly host. When we had trouble with the t.v. she offered great suggestions. The studio is beautifully decorated and was the perfect spot for our mini honeymoon.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riverwalk Studio. The property is beautiful. We really enjoyed the arts and crafts, fairy garden and all the dinosaur toys. The riverside was fun to explore. We were too scared to swim in the river, as the current was strong. And, there wasn’t an area that was easy to get in. The shower was really small. It would have been nice to have a washer/dryer. The most difficult part was taking our garbage and recycling with us. We drove for hours with garbage in our car. But, We are looking forward to staying again.

Fantastic place to base your mountain adventure.
Located on an isolated hill top far from anything, the only thing you can hear is the roar of the French Broad River below.
You are in driving distance dozens of trailheads like Lovers Leap and SilverMine. You can go see Max Patch Bald. Both the Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests are nearby.
There is a large grassy area down on the river below where you can fish, make a camp fire, or just watch the river roll on. The French Broad is a VERY strong river. Be sure you know what you are getting into before you get in.

Some things to expect:
You are going to wash your own dishes.
There is no laundry. Pack Accordingly.
You are deep in the woods, so there may be a few bugs.
Visual entertainment options are limited. If you want a giant TV this isn't the place for you.
Grocery Options in Hot Springs are some limited in the traditional sense. There are several locations to pick up local ingredients however.
River Road is mostly unpaved.
Opening and closing the Driveway gate is a strenuous affair for people of smaller stature.
