I took a lot of pictures including rings of mold in the toilets, cat hair on the toaster and dirty foil inside. The owner of this house didn't offer to send cleaning people over right away but this was their response.
"Thank you for the pictures. I will forward them to my cleaning service. The coffee pot is typically stored downstairs in storage and only put out a week or two before a guests arrival. (We haven’t had any guests since May.) The toaster oven isn’t even supposed to be there. I usually put that in the garage as it does look a little messy.
I can’t do much about the bugs… So so sorry about that! Please use the vacuum that is in the pantry. The sink seems weird. I’m not sure why that happened. I am sending these pictures to my cleaning service to make sure that they understand what the standards should be! You are the first guest I’ve had who pointed any of this out. Thank you for your input.

If you look in the enclosed deck, there many lake magazines that give you an idea of some of the wonderful places that are in the region."
My suggestion to the owner would be if no one has been there since May have the cleaning service show up before your next guest. This is not up to evolve standards.
