We enjoyed our stay very much! Loved the water and dock and the beautiful sunset views. It was a perfect place to stay for a mother daughter getaway.

We had a great time kayaking, fishing, relaxing and eating in this wonderful place. Jack and Sandy are the best hosts. This place is so clean and the decorations are so beachcentric. I love that everyday things are at the place keeping us from having to load up on so much stuff from stores to then have to take it home too. It's are home away from home. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed looking at the stars and sunsets on the dock.

This quiet apartment over the garage was exactly as pictured and was clean and even smelled good. If you can climb stairs with your luggage and supplies then this would be a good place to stay. Sandy was nice and helpful with any questions we had. We didn't use the dock since we had access to another one just down the road but the dock was a very nice space and a lovely place to watch the sunset or to use the kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the living space is completely your own and the washer/dryer is available to use and is located in the corner of the garage. Please note, if you are short, you will not be able to reach the chain switches for the ceiling fans and lights. The chains are very short and I am tall and could barely reach them.
The TV is a Roku set up but you'll need to sign into each of your own apps to use it. (A suggestion would be for the owners to set up the guest feature on the Roku account so each guest would only need to sign in one time to have access to all of their apps from their own account vs having to sign in 5 or 6 times, once for each app.) The AC works well and the kitchen has the basic equipment needed to cook and even had some storage bowls with lids which were helpful for leftovers or to use for making a salad.
I booked through VRBO but then got a confirmation from Evolve. I had not heard of Evolve before. I don't know if they are affiliated with VRBO but the owners did not get any of my messages sent through VRBO where I booked. So if you book through VRBO, be aware that messages don't get to the owners. It is better to call or text them with the phone number provided by Evolve.
I would recommend this rental if you are looking for a quiet and private place to stay in Gulf Breeze. I hope it is available the next time I will be in the area.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the layout is perfect. We felt right at home with everything we could possibly need, and it was sparkling clean.
Waking up to the view of the bay in the super comfy bed every morning was fantastic. We enjoyed relaxing and lovely sunsets on the dock. We took the kayaks out and met some of the friendly neighbors. Fishing off the dock was lots of fun.
Sandy and Jack are the nicest, most accommodating hosts we've ever had. We can't wait to return!
