We stayed here with a large friend group. The house is older but was nice and clean. Our group enjoyed playing shuffleboard on the back patio. The only issue we encountered was a blown fuse while cooking breakfast. The breaker box was not in an area of the house guests can enter so we called the guest contact and a neighbor came over to reset the fuse.
There aren’t a ton of options close for entertainment but our group enjoyed staying at the house instead of going out, so it was perfect for us.

We had 13 of us with 7 side by sides. We had plenty of parking and room to stay. House was very clean and the host was super nice and answered my questions immediately!!

We have been going to the lake for years… we are normally off and love the purvis rd/Laurie area MM. We have stayed at many properties and can say we have had some nice homes/condos and some pretty trashy ones as well. We know the lake well and know where we enjoy the MM best. We do NOT enjoy being at or near the main channel or the bar drinking boat scene. We were just around the corner from lake burger and the main channel for those that would like that access. We loved the quiet large no wake area so our grandkids could float and enjoy the water without feeling fearful of constant wake traffic. The dock was well maintained with many pluses like slide, kayaks, paddleboard, lily pad, table with benches, fishing area, and also, fire pit, deck with numerous chairs and table. There was a covered area that was great to keep stuff out of rain. Plus, there was porch area with a freezer and another refrigerator. The home was perfect for our group with 5 bedrooms and several open areas for a blow up mattress if needed. This home reminds me of the home I stayed in as a kid, little old school and yet with updated bathrooms and showers, kitchen area, wet bar/frig, decent flooring, and comfy couch. Tables inside and out allowed us to all eat sitting. View was open to whole porch/deck/fire pit. There was plenty of parking for all 6 of our vehicles. Kitchen was decently stocked, Keurig coffee pot, china, crockpot, skillet, etc. but could use some sharper knives. I can only suggest a few things. For people traveling far away, (I pack all this by habit) but would be more bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, dish towels/dish rags. We could not find a dish towel and only had a couple hand towels. Dishwasher/Washer /dryer awesome assets. Home was cleaned and maintained well. Home is easily accessed with good gravel road/drive. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would most definitely recommend this home. Was exactly what we like as a lake home….relaxing outdoor space, with some shade and safe dock to access water! Plan to stay again as great home without breaking the bank👍😀
