Wonderful location right at lakeside with pretty much everything we needed for our stay.

Clean. Washer and dryer great. Kitchen and private Weber grill nice. Weird having full bath in the garage, which one might think is different space on ground floor. No shower in bathroom with tub. Family of 5 used 1 shower in master, which was only minor adjustment. Nice to have garage for kayak storage.
View of water was nice. See across cove to homes. Pic 1/26 taken on small bridge in front of property, not from home’s deck on 2nd level.
Can hear neighbor next door. Therefore, we had to tell our kids (age 10-15) to be quiet even playing charades for fear of complaints.
Desoto Amenities - pool hours weekdays 12-6. Mini golf, tennis, pickleball have strange hours even the attendants had hard time describing. Needs to be clearer for guests if advertise on listing. Village visitor center was clueless about most options around Village, just wanted to give tour to sell something.
Boys enjoyed kayak fishing - just be aware water is super clear which does affect fishing if not used to. Plan accordingly.
Close to groceries, Wal-Mart. Miles posted away from activities does not account for roads. Most about 30 minutes away. Best money spent was renting boat on Lake Ouachita for 1/2 day - beautiful!! Natural, no homes, stunning views. Diamond Mine (2nd time there) was waste of time though 1st time 7 years ago was fun. Check to see when dirt plowed before you go. Go to Crystal Mine nearby. Spent day in Hot Springs walking around seeing sights which was fun despite 98 degrees. Scoops Ice Cream in Hot Springs was yummy. Bubba Brews on Lake Hamilton was awesome!

House was as described, plenty of room for everyone, kitchen was well stocked, linens and towels were plenty.
The view from the balcony to the water was great, it is probably even better in the summertime.
Very quiet and serene surroundings, no noises, even if the road is very close.
Loved grilling outside and hanging out on the balcony in the morning. Wish we stayed longer.
Beds were super comfortable, the blankets were light and warm.
Will definitely be back.
