House was great for us. Tons of room inside and out. Quiet lake view and plenty of parking

We did a family New Year’s weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, living room was plenty big and the kitchen was nice with extra fridge and freezer in laundry room. There were a couple details that could’ve been better. Two toilet paper holders were broken. A big chair at the dining room table was broken and a bit dangerous. We grilled burgers but because the girl I had some rest about spots on the burners it was hard to control the flame, therefore burning the food even with foil down. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the dresser in the master is pretty useless, because the drawers don’t open and shut easily, they are all off the tracks. The master bathroom is wonderful but the hot water runs out pretty quickly….
We loved the artwork and how many bathrooms were available. The kids played Xbox upstairs and had a blast.
I asked the contact for the lake house about the kitchen, what cookware was available, etc and she said she got back to me after saying she would check and let me know. That lack of communication was disappointing. She did help us find the location when we got lost. Google and Apple take you to the wrong place.
Details matter, but overall it was a great trip :)

Very nice place. Beautiful lake. Just walk along the shore or fish off the boat dock. Tons of wildlife. I did kill a copperhead snake down by the lake. So makesure and pay attention. They look just like those brown rocks. I think the home is 97% finished. They need to tighten door knows. The one to the master was falling off so I tightened it. I changed all 3 airfilters for the hvac. They where very bad and getting sucked up into the holes. Dead bugs on the floor everywhere. Dresser draws fall out when you open them. Guest shower had sheetrock repair done, but it was never taped or mudded. All the windows in the house where open. They are double hung. You have to push up on the top one and down on the bottom one then lock them. I locked all of them. But all of those are little things. The 3%. I would stay here again.
Overall, it is a good place and close to great restaurants. Road hog saloon is a wonderful restaurant. Don't let the name full you. It is a restaurant.

This place has it all. It's very nice, it has everything a group of 5-7 would need and it's in a great location.
