Views were better even than pictures and the location just perfect to explore islands nearby with our kayak and stand-up paddle board. I loved to sit on the deck in the morning for coffee and the sunrise. The baby island was great for campfires and swinging in our camp hammock for a slightly different view. Our kids enjoyed mini explorations of the island behind the house for great elevated views of the lake. We watched deer cross from our island to the other on a shallow sandbar. It was very tranquil. There was easy access for our boat and it is 10 minutes or less from the marina to the house. The fishing wasn't great but we caught a northern for supper from the dock in addition to other outings.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the cabin is a bit dated and some minor problems developed with plumbing during our stay. The homeowners were very accessible and anxious to help in anyways that they could. I expect that they have already addressed the issues we had. Overall, the cabin is very cozy and really did have everything we needed. I would most definitely return as our experience was fantastic. The relaxing rhythms of nature are all around and complete rest and contentment was found here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The docks are wonderful! The place was nice with pretty much anything you need! The two decks are great and such a beautiful view! It was warm when we stayed the week and the fans provided made it very comfortable to sleep. Everything worked well and we have no problems with anything provided to us. There was however no where to unpack the food and items for the kitchen you bring to use because the shelves are all full of things provided. I would suggest an area of shelving so you have somewhere to keep the items you bring. The beach area was nice but could use a little clean-up but still usable! The campfire site was great and so nice at the end of the island and the sand bar in between the islands was amazing to watch the deer cross daily. A doe and two fawns were sighted many times. Such a beautiful lake and the sunsets and sunrises from the deck are amazing!

This place is like going back in time to Grandmas cabin by the lake, on an island! Eagles, loons, and ducks flying by all the time. I caught a Walleye right off the dock! There's a baby island included that has a beach and a fire pit. It's the perfect place to escape the modern world. It feels like it's your place. It's rustic, but comfortable. We even saw Northern Lights.
