Thanks for having us at this bright, clean cottage within easy driving distance to Acadia NP and everything the Maine coast has to offer. We would love to stay here again!

We were so happy with this rental! So beautiful, beds were comfortable, nicely decorated. Fans and breeze from the ocean keeps it cool, was a little concerned because no A/c. They have an additional fan also. We had fires 2 nights right on the ocean, stars were amazing. We kayaked on the ocean, no seals but it was fun. As it states there is a larger house closer to the water and a little in front of your view but it didn’t bother us at all. We still had a great view!The property was within a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to all points of interest. Bar Harbor( whale watching), Schoodic Point(walk on huge rocks to the ocean so fun), Tidal Falls Perserve(colorful starfish at low tide! maybe 5-10 minutes away). We did have one problem with the water. Our first morning woke up to no water. Called owner and problem was fixed in about an hour. Some left a hose running and depleted well. Recovery was fine in 2 hours which we used to kayak. All was fine after the prompt attention of the owner and his handyman. Joe and Krystal were awesome to rent from! Bridget

Came here for a long weekend girls trip. The house was exactly as describe. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
We had a few hiccups during our stay—a bad door lock and smoke detectors going off in middle of night due to high humidity. But the hosts were very responsive and helpful—even though we woke them in the middle of the night.
The views were amazing and we had a great time overall despite the few bumps. Thanks!!

The "cottage" - actually, a standalone private small 2-bedroom house sharing a 6-acre waterfront lot with the main house, is of excellent quality and is very well equipped. The spacious living / dining / kitchen opening to a large deck balcony with an absolutely beautiful view of the bay and Cadillac Moutain at a distance. The location is good, about 35 minutes' drive away from Bar Harbor and 25 minutes' drive away from Schoodic Point.
The first highlight of our trip is our time sitting on the well-furnished balcony - sunbathing lounge chairs, rocking chairs, tables and a hammock. There are also several well-equipped kayaks / paddles/ lifejackets available for quiet kayaking on smooth & calm water around the bay.
The owners were excellent communicator. They did provide us with a very good tip on seafood - Tracey's Seafood just a few minutes' drive away from the house. For several meals, we ordered cooked live lobsters (at extremely reasonable price of $11 per pound) and brought back to the house for dining on the balcony. This is the second highlight of our trip.
Summary - A very good place to relax - no worries, no hurries. Convenient place for a visit to Acadia NP.
