I reserved this beautiful home for 6 of my friends and myself to have a place to stay while we visited Gettysburg. It was just a short drive into Gettysburg. It was beautiful and we enjoyed staying together in one place . The table was big enough for all and we spent time around the fireplace both evenings. The quiet countryside was absolutely peaceful and gorgeous. Our favorite place was to sit on the porch and talk. We were a little disappointed that there was no running water in the garage apartment but my single gentleman friend stayed there and made it work. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Loved the house. Needed all five bedrooms - perfect for our large family! Only disappointment was that the river was not easy to get to and not close to the house so no fishing. Otherwise, we couldn't have been happier.

We stayed at this property while visiting Gettysburg National Park, about twenty minutes away. I encourage anyone staying in this area to visit Gettysburg and arrange for a private tour guide. It was an amazing, informative experience. But about the home! We loved the charm of this home. It was a roomy place where eight adults could gather or find quiet spaces. The home was very clean and very well supplied with sheets, towels (many more towels than we could have ever used!) and kitchen supplies. Easy check in and check out, good communication from owner. I would love to live here full time! Even though the home is in a rural area, there is a grocery store, a McDonald's and a Dunkin' very close by.

We loved staying at this home. The house was large and comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful a d we enjoyed walking down to the river to fish. My son caught several fish and we saw deer crossing the river. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
