Our family of 5 (a couple, grandparent, and two young children, 4 and 1 years old) stayed for two weeks and felt very comfortable in this great house. Lots of amenities and hospitable touches to make you feel welcome. We found the proximity to DC as well as easy access to VA highways very convenient. Highlights were the well-stocked kitchen (a true chef’s kitchen) and the cinema room. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac (no noise from traffic) and we enjoyed evening strolls with our children. We also worked from home and found the internet and workspace setup excellent.
I highly recommend this property and would book again the next time we are in the NoVa/DC area!

My family traveled to Arlington for my Uncle's service and internment at Arlington National Cemetery on June 6. This home was perfectly located. My son and his family thoroughly enjoyed the downstairs entertainment areas, the kitchen was spacious and beautifully equipped, and the dining room large enough to accommodate all of us. The bar stools, however, were too high to sit comfortably at the large kitchen counter. We used all four bedrooms but there were no curtains in the bedroom with the single bed which was disappointing. Lighting in the two smaller bathrooms was a bit dark and the master bath tub/shower was tricky to get in and out of, but everything was clean and comfortable. The owner was especially accommodating, helpful and friendly.

The house worked out beautifully for our Georgetown graduation. It was large enough to accommodate all the relatives travelling from afar. The kitchen was amazing. We felt right at home with several cooks. Our celebration gathering was great too with the location of the large dining area off the kitchen. The weather was pretty enough that we enjoyed the back yard patio. I could not have asked for more.
As to the other review comment on the mattress in the master. They were correct it was extra firm, but with my back I woke every day feeling just fine.
I would rent it again without a second thought.

The owner did quite a lot to accommodate our trip and assist us with our three young kids. The house is nice however there still seems to be a noticeable smell downstairs that wouldn't go away. We bought air fresheners and kept the windows open but the smell was always there. We were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom which was carpeted and had difficulty sleeping because of the smell. With new carpets and understanding where the smell is coming from and taking care of it, it would be a delightful house to stay in.
