We absolutely loved our stay! Falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was magical. The house was spotless and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a group of 6 spanning 3 generations.
Acadia National Park was about an hour’s drive away — we loved exploring it, and the drive itself was gorgeous. The Schoodic Peninsula, only 10 minutes away, was just as amazing and a bit more peaceful.
We even planned a relaxing day just to soak in the beauty of the house and the incredible views. The hosts were wonderful, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and even surprising us with a thoughtful gift basket.
We honestly wish we could move in permanently! Hoping to come back someday — will always remember staying at Serenity by the Sea!

Everything we could hope for was here. Quiet, lovely, clean and very comfortable with every thoughtful detail, including a snack basket, that welcomed us. Already missing it!

This is a beautiful home, new, modern and clean. All of the high end finishes make it feel very special. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The open floor plan kitchen / living room area has lots of big windows to enjoy the amazing view. We loved having the gas fireplace to use on chilly nights.
Debby and John have thought of everything. Communication was fast and helpful. Debby was in touch before we arrived, providing information on arrival, groceries etc
The outside has a wonderful deck with dining table and lounge chairs.
The yard has an amazing fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs that look out on the most incredible view.

Nice clean house. A little over an hour from the hustle of Bar Harbor. Had everything we needed to cook meals. Great view. We enjoyed our time here.
