This property was a half-way point for two couple friends to meet and this home offered us a memorable stay! The kitchen was well stocked for us to have home-cooked meals. We loved having morning coffee on the upper deck and relaxing in the hot tub by the evening. The house could use a light refresh in upkeep, but nothing to impede on our experience. We appreciated that we could bring our pups too. The location had plenty to explore within a short-drive. The driveway is steep and rutted as others mentioned, but easily manageable in our AWD SUVs. We would stay there again!

We had a few days of rest and relaxation. We were able to do some shopping and sightseeing. House was great, plenty of space to stretch out.

The cabin is beautiful. And a decent location from town.
Definitely could use a little more TLC though, and updating.
As for the cleanliness of the cabin.. surface cleaning at best.
Truly needs some deep cleaning done.
I found a pair of panties and bra under the side table in the bedroom ( moving it out to plug in a baby monitor) from a previous guest, if that tells you anything about the cleaning.
The drive way is in need of repair, but we have driven up way worse when staying in TN.
We had no trouble getting up it and through the rutted parts in any of the vehicles we took up there. (Truck, suv and mini van.)
I understand wanting to have security- but 5 cameras felt like we were being watched all the time. They state for “our safety” I didn’t get that at all. More like an invasion of privacy. Because of the placement of a couple… 1 outside garage, that’s fine, understandable even, but 1 inside the garage, little creepy.
We’ve stayed at a lot of rental cabins in the area and never had that.
I do hate to complain. We usually always make the best out of any situation, so we still enjoyed ourselves.
This could truly be a gem if it was cleaned properly and given a little TLC.
